Audi continues to live up to its famous slogan “Vorsprung durch Technik”, meaning “Advantage through technology.” Audi is in fact one of the few car companies that use aluminum space frame technology, offering vehicles equipped with continuously variable transmissions (CVT’s). The Audi ignition coil is an induction coil in the ignition of the vehicle. Its mission is to increase battery voltage to ignition voltage. It takes about 12 to 16 volts stored in the battery and converts it to 12,000 – 20,000 – or even 40,000-plus or whatever voltage is necessary to awaken the spark plugs. Every Audi ignition coil is a switching device located in the coil primary circuit that goes along with the rotation of the crankshaft. The Audi fuel pressure regulator is fitted as individual parts in the fuel system and keeps the pressure on the fuel injectors at a predetermined value depending on the quality and temperature of the fuel. It includes a vacuum line connection to the intake manifold to the vacuum to be measured. As engine speed increases, lowers the vacuum causes the fuel pressure increased. The failure of the Audi pressure regulator can get the entire fuel system to malfunction. It must therefore regularly with other parts of the fuel system to be reviewed.
