Man arrested over burnt car
A 35-year-old Dunedin man has been arrested and charged with arson after his car was found burnt out late last year. The burnt-out Subaru was found in McLeod Rd, Burnside, in November, and a Dunedin CIB investigation led to the arrest of the owner, police said.

Northlake man tried to run down officer with car: Sheriff
A Northlake man, apparently upset that a police officer would not move away from a gas pump quickly enough, was arrested after he made multiple attempts to strike that officer with his car, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart announced today in a news release.

Police probe claim of racial profiling
A group of people in their 20s who were ticketed by a Chicago police officer this week on the West Side claim they recorded him making statements indicating their stop was racial profiling, WGN-TV is reporting.
