Audi – All Car History Volume1

Audi goes back to 1899 and August Horch. Hark, when the company he founded was pushed, he started a new company called Audi in 1909, which was a Latin translation of Horch (in German: ‘Listen’). From the outset, was the policy of the company to build cars mainly for the luxury class.

Since 1932 the Audi emblem on the “Four Rings”, has to defend its merger with DKW, Horch and Wanderer, Auto Union AG in Chemnitz, form, Germany. Audi sold a wide range of passenger vehicles in the 1930s – from motorcycles to luxury sedans. Volkswagen bought the company in 1964. In the 1980s, dominated rally with Audi Quattro and the Audi has great success in the Le Mans 24 hours had with its R10 racers.

Audi of progressive design and groundbreaking technologies combine to make cars that are innovative, but to style. The current crop of vehicles from production of the Audi A3 to the Audi R8 supercar has powered Audi’s sales through the 21 Century record. Audi have all type of car imaginable, from classes such as the Audi A4 and Audi A6 manufactured to sports cars like the Audi TT – from the Audi Q7 full size SUVs, the Audi A2 Super-Mini and they show no sign of slowing down.
